We're a small team of aerospace engineers, problem solvers, and above all, makers.
Our workshop spans three hangars at the San Luis Obispo airport, filled with CNC machines, airplanes, and the constant hum of fabrication. In one area of the shop, we’re designing and manufacturing prototype components for experimental aircraft. In another, we’re crafting small batches of EDC gear from the same Grade 5 titanium and 7075 aluminum we use in aerospace projects.
Our passion for aviation and adventure carries into everything we build, and you’ll often find us flying over the hills of California’s Central Coast during lunch breaks. Being in the air gives us a constant reminder of how small design decisions perform in the real world, a perspective we bring directly back into our work.
THE BACKSTORY
This all began when we couldn’t find a utility knife that met our requirements: something as lightweight and minimal as possible, with a blade that could be replaced easily without any tools. After coming up short, we decided to make one ourselves.
What started as a fun side project in the shop quickly turned into something bigger. Friends wanted one, then customers, and before long we were developing a full line of everyday carry gear alongside our aerospace engineering work.

Even as the brand has grown, our approach hasn’t changed. We design, manufacture, and assemble everything in-house, and we’re proud to make our products in the USA.
